In compliance with state law, we provide reports to the State Controller's office annually. Board and Staff member compensation can be viewed on the State Controller's Public Pay website.

The Klamath CSD is an independent special district governed pursuant to Community Services District Law (GC §61000, et seq.), by a five member Board of Directors, elected for four-year terms by registered voters residing within the District. Board members must reside within District boundaries, and oversee District needs and services, along with budget issues. The Del Norte County Board of Supervisors may appoint members to the District’s Board if there is a lack of candidates for election. A $40 stipend is paid to each Director for each board meeting attended. Table 6 below shows the existing Board composition.
